Customization

These templates are used in the definition line to indicate that the word is a special form, such as the plural, of another word. Users can customize how the output of these templates display by selecting a preference from WT:PREFS or by adding styles to Special:Mypage/monobook.css, as described in WT:CUSTOM#“Form of” definitions, e.g.:

  • For “form of” definitions with an “italicized qualifier”:
    1. Form of word.
    .use-with-mention { font-style: italic; }
    .use-with-mention .mention { font-style: normal; }
  • For “form of” definitions with an “italicized lemma”:
    1. Form of word.
    .use-with-mention { font-style: normal; }
    .use-with-mention .mention { font-style: italic; }
