Etymology

Named by Dutch explorers Pieter Dirkszoon Keyser and Frederick de Houtman between 1595 and 1597. From later [[w:Template:lang:la language|Template:lang:la]][[Category:Template:lang:la derivations]] tucana, a "toucan".
