Etymology

From [[w:Template:lang:la language|Template:lang:la]][[Category:Template:lang:la derivations]] metaphysica < Byzantine Greek μεταφυσικά (metaphusika) < Ancient Greek μετά (meta) "after" + φυσικός (phusikos) "natural". The word derives from the title of the collection by Aristotle "μετὰ τὰ φυσικά" (after the natural things).
