Usage notes

The adjective ninguno and its inflected forms are only used in negative sentences. The adjective may be translated into English as some or any if the resulting English sentence is negative.

When used before a masculine singular noun as part of the noun phrase, the apocopate form ningún is used instead of ninguno.
