Etymology

From the [[w:Template:lang:la language|Template:lang:la]][[Category:Template:lang:la derivations]] sūdōrifer (bearing sweat). The term originally came from the Latin sūdor (sweat) from the Latin verb sūdō (I sweat) + -i- + -fer (-fer, that which carries) from the Latin verb ferō (I bring) + -ous (forming -ferous).
